Referral service — how it works
How this DeBary storm damage referral service works
No forms to decode, no sales pitch. Here is the whole process in four steps, plus a plain explanation of how we're paid and — just as important — what we are not.
If there is a gas smell, a downed power line, or a risk of collapse, leave the area and call 911 first.
The four steps
You call, we connect you with an independent local contractor, the contractor assesses your damage, and you decide what to do next.
- You call (386) 877-0573 or request a callback below, and tell us what happened — roof damage, water inside, a tree down, broken openings.
- We connect you with an independent local contractor who handles that kind of storm damage around DeBary.
- The contractor assesses the damage — often starting with emergency protection like tarping — and lays out your options and costs.
- You decide. Hire them, get another quote, or do nothing. No obligation either way.

How we make money
We may be paid a referral fee by the contractor when we connect you — you, the caller, are never charged anything.
That is the entire business model: contractors pay for qualified connections, and homeowners get a fast path to local help at no cost. We don't take a cut of your repair bill and we don't mark up the contractor's price. Read the full advertising disclosure for the details.
What we are not
We are not a contractor. We hold no contracting license claims, we perform no repair work, and we have never set foot on your roof.
You won't find claims of in-house crews or technicians on this site, because we don't have any — and we'd rather say so than pretend. What we do is narrower: we answer, we listen, and we connect you with an independent local contractor who does this work for a living. More about this site.
How to vet whoever you hire
Before you hire anyone for storm work in Florida, check their license yourself and ask for proof of insurance.
Use the Florida DBPR license search to confirm the license is real and current, ask for a certificate of insurance, and prefer contractors with a local address over crews that rolled in after the storm. Our guide to choosing a storm repair contractor in Florida walks through the rest, including post-storm scam red flags.
And if a contractor's estimate confuses you, our cost guide explains what the numbers are made of. When you're ready to start, contact us and we'll make the connection.
Frequently asked questions
Do you charge callers anything?
No. Calling us and being connected with a contractor costs you nothing, and requesting a callback is free too. We're paid by contractors for qualified referrals, never by homeowners. That arrangement is spelled out on our advertising disclosure page so you always know where we stand.
Do you do the repair work yourselves?
No — we don't swing hammers, climb roofs, or hold a contractor's license, and we won't pretend otherwise. We're a referral service: we connect you with an independent local contractor who does the work. Verifying that contractor's license and insurance is always your call, and we show you exactly how.
How quickly will a contractor call me back?
We can't promise a time — the contractor's schedule, the size of the storm, and how many calls came in ahead of yours all play a part. What we can promise is that we'll connect you promptly and the contractor takes it from there. For active water intrusion, say so on the call so it's treated as urgent.
Are you a licensed contractor?
No. This site is a referral service, not a contracting business, so contractor licensing doesn't apply to us. The contractors we connect you with should be properly licensed for the work they do — use the Florida DBPR license search to check any contractor yourself before hiring.
